Good to know: TCC is The Cellular Connection, an authorized Verizon retailer headquartered in Marion, Indiana. Verizon is a Second Chance Business Coalition member, but TCC is a separate company and not covered by that.

What to bring

• State ID or driver's license
• Social Security card (or other I-9 document)
• 3 copies of your resume
• A list of 3 references with phone numbers
• A pen and this sheet
• The Federal Bonding info below, in case they worry about hiring someone with a record

What to wear

Neat and clean. When in doubt, one step nicer than the job.

Questions they may ask

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Why do you want to work here?
3. Do you have a criminal record? Tell me about it.
4. Why is there a gap in your work history?
5. When can you start?

When they ask about your record

Keep it under 30 seconds, be honest, and bring it back to the job. If your record was expunged, you may answer about the expunged part as if it never happened.

1. What would make someone great in this job?
2. What are the next steps, and when should I follow up?
